Anonymous Is Now Attacking The Klan’s Web Sites
This raised the hackles (no pun intended) of the loose online collective Anonymous, who essentially declared cyberwar against America’s oldest terrorist group the white supremacist hate group. On Saturday, they began revealing the identities of the hood-loving “invisible empire” members online. Yesterday, they humiliated the pointyheaded purveyors of partitionist pique by answering their Twitter taunts with an outright takeover of two Klan-tied Twitter accounts.
Maybe they should not have wasted their time by calling a liberal blogger. Not once, but twice.
Because now, Anonymous is disrupting the racist regressives’ Web presence.
Over the wekend, Anonymous managed to knock the web site of the Traditionist American Knights of the Ku Klux Klan (the apparent KKK splinter cell from whom the above-cited death threats emerged) offline. The site eventually does come up in a “zombie” cached version from a cloud backup service.
By the early morning hours of Monday, kkk.com, uwkkk.com, and americanheritagecommittee.com were among the sites that Anonymous had taken offline or made unavailable.
Late this morning, Twitter posts indicated that they had disabled or disrupted other domains including serpentfront.com and kingidentity.com.
And just before 10amEST, they managed to shut down arguably the most popular and supposedly best-protected white supremacist social hub on the Web.

While knocking web sites offline makes us feel a little better, it doesn’t put any of these right wing racists in prison. I want them locked up for their crimes, not mollycoddled.
