‘Christian’ Pastor Prays For President’s Death, Calls Obama’s Mother A Whore
Pastor Stephen J. Anderson unleashes his sermons at the Faithful Word Baptist Church in Phoenix, and he’s on a mission to spread the good word by calling on his congregation to pray for President Barack Obama’s death.
If this prayer of goody goodness sounds familiar to you it’s because he’s done this before.
Liberals Unite reports:
In 2009 Pastor Anderson told his congregation that his disdain for the President wasn’t because of Obama’s policies, but that he actually hated Obama himself. He said that he prays every night that President Obama will die and go directly to hell.
Anderson said in 2009:
“And I’m going to tell you something. I hate Barack Obama. You say, well, you just mean you don’t like what he stands for. No, I hate the person. Oh, you mean you just don’t like his policies. No, I hate him.”
“And you’re going to tell me that I’m supposed to pray for the socialist devil murderer infanticide who wants to see young children and he wants to see babies killed through abortion, you’re gonna tell me I’m supposed to pray for God to give him a good lunch tomorrow when he’s in Phoenix, Arizona,” he said to the congregation. “Nope, I’m not gonna pray for his good. I’m going to pray that he dies and goes to Hell…When I go to bed tonight, Stephen J. Anderson is going to pray for Barack Obama to die and go to Hell.”
Fast forward to a sermon the birther pastor gave on November 2nd and you’ll see that nothing’s changed.
“Even according to the official version, little Barry boy is a bastard,” Anderson says. “Because he was conceived out of wedlock. His mother has an illegitimate marriage to a guy who’s already married to somebody else…and then he’s actually raised by a guy named Lolo Soetoro. That’s who is actually raising him, and then he’s going around as Barry Soetoro…”
“Here’s the alternate version, which I actually believe to be reality,” Anderson told his congregation. “I do not believe that Barack Obama Sr. is probably even the real father. Because a lot of times, women will do this, wicked women will do this: where they would basically , you know, oh I’m pregnant, quick, marry somebody, OK, so basically, pass it off as, OK? Especially back in those days.”

The comments under the video must be from his super-intellectual congregation. One of the hundreds of commenters wrote, “i prefer to just call barack obama a faggot.” [sic]
And I prefer to call the Secret Service. Following that call should be one to the I.R.S. for politicizing from the pulpit.

I have a friend I call Stoney… We have been friends for well over 30 years, we were stoners in junior high school… Always waited at the end of the lunch line to collect nickles as lunch was only .95 cents back then… Take our nickles and buy a joint or two… So long ago, I don’t even smoke marijuana any longer, but I did talk with Stoney today, always nice to talk with a friend…. =)

How much time and effort have you put into studying Islam, Wastrel Way? Would you be capable of participating in an in-depth conversation that explored the many shades of difference between the many different sects without trying to play google catch-up?
Or are you just taking someone’s word for it?
Rather than plumbing the depths of this religion and the way the many sects interpret various texts and passages, I have the living and real example of how over 1 billion Muslims conduct themselves. They are not involved in terrorism. They tend to be very good at giving to charity, though. It is one of the pillars of their faith and they are very concerned with following through on it and the other 4 pillars.
I have known Muslims in my community and had several Muslim friends in Paris when I lived there and they were all fine people. They all lived up to the reputation for extraordinary hospitality and generosity.

I am a Christian who tends to be to the left of moderates and I have consistently condemned the speech of guys like this. I’ve been doing it here for years, sorry you missed it.
In doing so, I have not stooped to the level some do, which is to resort to bigotry. Indeed, stories like this are welcomed by Christian-hating bigots because they feel it gives them cover to express their hatred.
Unfortunately, just as, at times, we see the Right be silent when some of their number express bigotry for Muslims, we also see the Left, at times, give safe harbor to Christian-hating bigots.
For years I have pointed this out and have said we would see a decrease in bigotry if the Left and Right were to speak out against their allies who are bigots. I say give the bigots nowhere to go.
And searambler, one does not have to be a member of a group targeted by bigots to speak up. I am not gay but I defend gays against bigotry. I am not Jewish or Muslim, but I defend them, to. By the same token, I defend members of races I do not belong too, also.
See my above posts where I refer to things Christians are doing in the community and the challenges I gave to OldLefty and someone else to examine the websites of their local churches to see what they are up to. Then please get back to us on what you find and let us know if they are involved in hateful activities or those you find admirable.
