Three Kentucky Teens In Custody For Loaded Gun At High School
A third Kentucky teen was taken into custody on Thursday morning after a loaded gun was found at a Christian County High School.
Investigators say they received information that the 17-year-old boy also had possession of the loaded .380 caliber handgun Wednesday morning, according to JRN.
After the school resource officer was given a tip, two other teenage boys, ages 16 and 17, were taken into custody Wednesday.
The handgun was taken from one of the boys without incident.
According to authorities, both teenagers were in possession of the gun at different points throughout the day.
All three boys were charged with unlawful possession of a weapon on school property and possession of a handgun by a minor.
Officials with Christian County Public Schools released the following statement:
“Safety of our students and staff is the district’s top priority. Today’s incident is very unfortunate, however we are pleased that the collaborative efforts of staff and local law enforcement prevented physical harm or injury during the incident. Staff followed protocols established for emergency management and alerted local law enforcement of suspicious activity occurring on school grounds.
“The district is grateful for the partnership it has with the Christian County Sheriff’s Office and the Hopkinsville Police Department. HPD and the Sheriff’s Office handled the situation quickly and were very supportive. Christian County Public Schools has cooperated fully during this investigation.”
There were no details offered as to who the owner of the gun is.

well, like our fellow Americans at Kliven’s Kountry Kow farm in Nevada, they’re our friends and neighbors just like US, only not American enough to be carrying missing military weapons – right, WHITE Senator Rand Paul (R) – Kentucky?
-and within your own state too! -how nice.
so in order for WHITE folks to keep from being taken into custody, they gotta point their loaded illegal military weapons at ‘Law Enforcement’? – is that the lesson we’re suppose to be picking up on here?
