Cruz: War If GOP Takes Senate

Posted by | November 3, 2014 14:11 | Filed under: Contributors Opinion Politics Stuart Shapiro Top Stories

Senator Ted Cruz couldn’t wait one more day.  He gave a gift to Democrats by talking about what he would do if his GOP takes over the Senate in tomorrow’s elections.

Cruz promises more confrontation in the Senate, more gridlock in Washington and more partisanship in Congress. In recent comments that were bannered on the front page of The Washington Post and reported in media throughout the nation, Cruz issued his call to confrontation from the right, promising that he will lead this fight for Senate Republicans to continue the very aggressive ideological partisanship that voters want ended.

Cruz really wants to be president of the Divided States of America. It is all part of the master plan of carving up America and giving it to the oligarchy.

Part of the hidden story behind Ted Cruz, is that he is a Dominionist, which is part of the movement called Christian Reconstructionism.

      Wikipedia says:

Dominion Theology or Dominionism is the idea that Christians should work toward either a nation governed by Christians or one governed by aconservative Christian understanding of biblical law. At least under this name, it exists primarily among non-mainstream Protestants in the United States. It is a form of theocracy

      end quote

Some of the most sinister things behind the Dominionists movement is that they want ONLY evangelical Christians of the right “sort” in political office.

Most of them are for a total ban on all abortions, even to save the life of the mother, and that all contraception should be banned.

Most reconstructionists want an end to ALL government programs including Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid, EPA, IRS, Dept Of EDU, OSHA, etc, etc.

These people believe absolutely that Jesus is coming back “soon”, and want to rule the USA as totalitarion theocrats, subjecting all people to a life of subservience to their Christian Jihad

They have no use, or regard for the 1st amendment, or Article 6, paragraph 3 of the Constitution, and will do everything they can to get it amended.

Ted Cruz has allegedly been “anointed” as a king by a group calling themselves the New Apostolic movement, headed by C Peter Wagner. These people want Ted for President, so that he can use executive power to try to create law based on establishment of religion

These people are bound and determined to overturn the life, liberty, and happiness we enjoy in the USA, and replace our government with a Christian Taliban controlling every aspect of life.

For more information on this, and someone who grew up inside the movement, and knows it intimately, see the writing and videos of Frank Schaeffer

I do not make many political predictions. But I guarantee you that the only way Ted Cruz ever sees the inside of the Oval Office is if he is invited there by the President of the United States, whomever that may be. It will not be Ted Cruz. Ever.

I do think it would be great if a President Hilary Clinton offered to meet with all of the 2016 GOP primary candidates after she is sworn in. The agenda would be simple.

Fellas, take a look at this office. It is a place where none of you are ever going to be. So do you want to continue your obstruction in pursuit of your impossible dream, or do you want to actually accomplish something for the benefit of the American people.

    • burqa November 5th, 2014 at 19:39

She should do that with cameras rolling.
I do not think the Republicans will stop this nonsense until their obstruction and gridlock proves too costly.
They just beat the daylights out of the Democrats, so they GOP has every incentive to continue shoving a stick in the spokes of the bicycle. They will continue to roll until the Democrats stand up and fight back just as hard and take it to the American people far better than they just did. The Democrats failed to come up with a message that resonates with the American people and would cause them to reject the way the Republicans play ball.
If and when Hillary or another Democrat is elected president, the GOP will continue to employ the same tactics until the Democrats figure out a way to defeat those tactics.
Right now the Democrats defend against GOP obstructionism as well as al Qaeda defends against drone-fired missiles. The Dems just take it, over and over.

The Repubs should go all out against the Dems if they win the Senate, but they won’t. Unlike the Dems who take no prisoners, the Repub establishment will wimp out. The first thing they will do is to restore the that 60 vote requirement that Harry Reid so callously dismissed, thus giving the Dems a say on future votes. As to the second thing they will do is anyone’s guess. But all out war? No, it won’t happen.

    • Dwendt44 November 3rd, 2014 at 17:25

Even you aren’t dumb enough to believe that. IF, and it’s a big IF, they do take the Senate, they will love the 51 vote needed to pass laws THEY,and they alone, like.

      _______

It’s really amazing that EVERYTHING you say is the opposite of reality.

The 60 vote requirement for ((Harry Reid only changed the rules for federal judicial nominees and executive-office appointments so they can advance to confirmation votes by a simple majority of senators, and it excludes SCOTUS), for Obama’s appointees???

I suspect they would do away with filibuster for everything.

Beware what you wish for…what you will get will not be to your liking.
If you want a war–I’m sure the Dems will happily oblidge.
And it will be a war that you WILL lose!

thank god they are losing seats tomorrow, and not winning seats

If they do manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory they will have bucked 64 years of history. I have confidence in them.

Yet no where in this article, or the one linked provides even at a bare minimum a quotation of Cruz, and at best a video or transcript of what he has said. Makes me not believe an iota of what has been reported.

So….other than shutting down the country and/or depriving the nation of a surgeon general just to appease the gun lobbyists you butt-lick, what sort of war are we talking about here Ted?

See? Both parties are all the same!

….Not true of course. The rhetoric and actions of the GOP since 2010 have proved it. Get out and vote tomorrow, no matter what the outcome. Quit the “voting doesn’t matter” bullcrap and exercise your right to vote.

    • viva_democracy November 3rd, 2014 at 21:39

It matters more than ever if you don’t vote. Every Dem that doesn’t vote tomorrow is actually voting for Cuban Cruz and his haters of America party.
