I love Alan’s show, and am happy to pay for the podcast, but this will be another guest for me to fast forward.
Sometimes people give you a hint as to who they are, (as Maya Angelou said), and when this guy spouts off right wing rhetoric that can so easily be debunked, like;
“The Alinsky-ites say, One of his rules: Never have a conversation with your adversary, because that humanizes them. And your job is to demonize them. They don’t want you to talk.”????
(That is not one of his rules and he never said any such thing.)
Carson said. “In order to solve that problem, we must not allow ourselves to be
manipulated. We must go out. We must talk, even to people with whom we disagree, and we must ask them, ‘What kind of America do you want to have? What
do you want to pass on to your children?’”
Carson said many aren’t familiar with the principles laid out in “Rules for Radicals,”
and certainly have no idea the book is dedicated to Lucifer. Yet, because they
have not yet educated themselves, they “blindly follow, like the pied piper over the cliff.”
And
Carson: “Will you listen? You have to take a long-term look at the ascent of something that fundamentally changes the power structure of America. You have to be someone who reads. Who is well-read. I want you to go back tonight. I want you
to pull out what Saul Alinsky says about health care under the control of the
government.”
Interview with Evan Gahr
The book is only 199 pages, one would think before he spouts off such provable nonsense, he would read it.
Claiming to be “well read” “educated” on the topic, while demonstrating that he either has NEVER read, and is totally uneducated on the topic, or is blatantly lying.
I put Dr Carson in the ‘I don’t have to drink the chunky, curdled, sour milk to know it is bad and will make me sick’ category.

So, Ben’s predicting an election that was supposed to not take place, according to him?
We know why Prince wants his mercenaries to fight in Iraq, more blood money for him!

Ask Dr. Ben about GOP Voter ID scams trying to Purge 7 M legally registered voters: 1 in 7 are Black who vote 95% for Dems. http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2014/10/29/gop-list-would-purge-1-in-7-black-voters.html
R.J. Carter October 29th, 2014 at 15:43
We don’t want to purge black voters from the rolls. Especially when so many are sounding the wake-up call.

GOP Admits voter fraud doesn’t exist and repubs Voter-ID is a scam to disenfranchise Democratic voters and ‘Lazy blacks’: N.C.

Which wasn’t my point, but nice linkage research (including to the unbiased ThinkProgress).
The point is that more and more blacks are recognizing that Democratic leadership on the local level has failed them, and are slowly starting to back and endorse Republican candidates.

Prior to GOP’s outreach you had 5% of black voters. Woo-hoo! Dead GOP plummeted remaining registered repubs to 23.8%! Dems 31.2%, Indy’s 36% half of whom vote for Dems. http://elections.huffingtonpost.com/pollster/party-identification

These things are not at all uncommon in local politics.
The ST Louis story tells you that it is because the Democrat who is running;
1) Beat the incumbent BLACK guy;”Erby called the August primary in which Stenger ended Dooley’s 11-year term, a “disgraceful and organized effort by certain Democratic organizations to taint the reputation of the first African-American county executive.”
2)The Democratic candidate’s relationship with staunch supporter Robert McCulloch — the county prosecutor who Ferguson activists are demanding step aside in the Michael Brown case — again came under fire from a coalition that disclosed its formation just two weeks ago.
“Steve Stenger’s unbreakable alignment with Bob McCulloch shows he will be unable to run the executive office independently and without influence,” Erby said.The Cleveland story tells you it is because Kasich has endorsed Democratic policies.
The cleveland story states that is is because Kasich has endorsed Democratic policies; “The endorsement specifically touts Kasich’s push to expand Medicaid coverageto low-income Ohioans and his support of set-asides for minority contractors on the Opportunity Corridor project being built in Cleveland’s inner city.” (in other words, affirmative action”).
How has Democratic leadership “failed” them?

“…and are slowly starting to back and endorse Republican candidates.”
Which is puzzling. Even if the Dems record is mediocre when it comes to policy affecting blacks, it STILL blows away anything and everything the GOP has done for them. Which is nothing good.
R.J. Carter October 30th, 2014 at 08:54
Yeah, after that whole “voting in the Civil Rights amendments” it’s been all down hill.
