Posted by | October 24, 2014 20:10 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

A man at a Dallas airport who appears to be intoxicated (he’s drunk) attacked a passenger who he assumed is gay. After the man hurled a few gay slurs, he attacked the man, then bystanders intervened, tackling him on the spot.

The man was held down until police arrived to handcuff him.

In the video, the angry man is seen threatening another passenger who is wearing a jacket and a pink shirt, according to Raw Story.

A tall man in a black cowboy hat quickly approaches the angry little feller and asks him why he’s upset.

“Queers!” the man who hates on pink shirts says. “That’s what I’m upset about. This faggot right here.”

Things escalate when Mr. Attitude suddenly kicks the man in the pink shirt, then starts slapping at him and grabbing his hair, because pink shirts.

Bystanders rush to intervene and tackle Mr. Man while the man in the black hat (hero) can be heard saying,  “No way! No way, you motherfucker. You ain’t doin’ that fucking shit, motherfucker.”

This actually happened in Texas.

secret Texans? I have lived here for a long time, but my heart is in Miami. I stay because of the Opera, symphony and football. We are long time ticket holders of all three

And with sea level rise you may only lose Galveston again, instead of an entire state!

            • Roctuna October 24th, 2014 at 21:02

It’s no secret. It did my librul yankee heart good to see that reaction in Dallas. I have to admit though, that I was surprised. Houston is a bit more LGBT-friendly.

              • Obewon October 24th, 2014 at 21:09

Maybe one of every six family members who are LGBT are finally coming out to their families:) ‘Unca Billy-Bob and Phil Robertson bought a house today. Their wedding bells maybe ringing by Sunday!’

Note that the TSA agents are useless. Note as well that, when they arrive, how quick, efficient, and professional the cops are. They are able to immobilize, cuff, and arrest the assailent without injuring him.

The state of Texas just gained a bit more blue blood :) . Good on all of those who stood up to this bigot!

    • M D Reese October 25th, 2014 at 02:31

I liked the way it was instantaneous–as soon as the drunk kicked the man in the pink shirt (who may or may not be gay…), they were on him. I also liked that one of the good guys was wearing a bright magenta-ish shirt.
