On Thursday, a supermodel had the audacity to Tweet her opinion on gun control following the shooting in Ottawa, Canada, and she was spot on, Now after death threats poured in following her tweet, Chrissy Teigen is leaving Twitter.

Sadly, this is nothing new. Moms Demand Action members receive outrageous tweets over their efforts to support common sense gun laws. Still, I wish she wouldn’t leave because of a few unhinged gun fetishists. The fact is, her tweet wasn’t just an opinion. It’s a reality.
It’s not just women or celebrities — no one, including our elected officials can have a discussion on implementing gun laws, or just background checks. It’s as if you’re killing their first born. The attacks pour in. Our country’s safety is being dictated by a minority. Most gun owners are responsible but there are a few who should never own a firearm.

As a gamer, I’ve seen first hand the misogyny being rife out there; It is sickening. But any venue anywhere will have this. The way to stop it is educate and inform the ignorant how serious this is, and hope that game makers and social media outlets get the message from the masses that they’ll leave for the venues that supports all genders and classes as equal. I know that is asking a great deal, but we have to start somewhere.

I think that there should be a special on a gamer channel where one of the more egregious offenders is stripped naked and fondled with cattle prods until he has seen the error of his ways. Every game opened should have the GIF embedded from there on.

No, I think it is stupid to threaten someone because of their beliefs and opinions. Kinda like the way liberals did to Kendra Jones after a hunting trip. Threatening anyone because of an opinion is stupid. But, do a little research and you will see liberals continuously threaten over the internet a lot more than conservatives or libertarians ever will.
