Tea Party Candidate Promises To Make ‘Roadkill’ Out of Obamacare (Video)

Posted by | October 21, 2014 16:45 | Filed under: News Behaving Badly Politics Top Stories

A Tea Party candidate in the Louisiana Senate race compared America during the Obama presidency to his old truck in a new television ad titled “Truck”, Talking Points Memo reports.

“My truck reminds me of our country under Obama: running on empty, needs a tune-up and a good wash,” Rob Maness says in the ad.

Maness goes on to say that “Washington politicians can’t fix our problems or our trucks.”

“As Louisiana’s senator, I’ll always put Louisiana over Washington, and I’l make Obamacare roadkill,” he says.

Instead of offering an alternative, Maness will just destroy the health care law, which has afforded coverage to those who were previously uninsured.  By a “tune-up” Maness means going back to the old system when American citizens with pre-existing conditions couldn’t find affordable insurance.

The video also shows his truck with an National Rifle Association sticker on it, because that’s the most important thing.

Watch:

On a different note (sort of), here is Maness giving Sarah Palin a commemorative coin for “leading America.” She may or may not have pawned the coin later.

Don’t forget to vote. If you don’t, then you have no right to complain.

The ACA is 85% nondiscretionary spending without congressional oversight, because CBO proves 27 Million ObamaCare buyers reduce Federal deficits by $1.5 trillion+. ‘Obamacare made DuckGhazi roadkill out of my brain,’ he means. The 15% Congressional oversight is for local state HC clinics early disease detection, reduction and prevention.

Another Tea Party crazy nuts with a truck and no plans whatsoever that will cost Republicans a winnable seat.

The Madison Project, which supports the Tea Party crazy nuts Rob Maness announced radio ads Monday attacking Rep. Bill Cassidy, the most prominent Republican candidate, who has the backing of the establishment. Madison Project officials are trying to boost Rob Maness by questioning Cassidy’s commitment to conservative stances on tax cuts and illegal immigration. Both men are on the ballot in November along with Mary Landrieu, a Democrat who is struggling to win a fourth term. If no candidate gets a majority of the vote, the race goes to a two-person runoff Dec. 6.

Polls show that Bill Cassidy is leading Mary Landrieu in a head-to-head matchup.

Tea Party crazy nuts Rob Maness has won endorsements from the Senate Conservatives Fund, the Eagle Forum, the Family Research Council’s Action PAC and Half Governor aka Sister Sarah.

Republican Bill Cassidy campaigned last week with John McCain of Arizona, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise of Louisiana and David Vitter, the state’s other incumbent. He also has been endorsed by convicted felon Rick Perry and Newt Gingrich.

This might be a win win situation for the Democrats.

      Hope you are right.

What I fear, is the majority that voted for Obama and Democrats, stay home, then wake up, wondered what happened, vote for Democrats again and it starts all over again, but each time the GOP digs us into a deeper hole, making it that much harder for the Democrat.

Yes, the “whiner and complainer” crowd that always want “everything or nothing” better get a clue, move their body, and go to voting polls to vote in November.

And if they don’t, then they need to keep quiet and stop complaining about everything because nothing is perfect, but we always have to do our best.

“My truck reminds me of our country under Obama: running on empty, needs a tune-up and a good wash,” It’s your truck, dumbass! Spend the money for gas and a tune up and get off your Budweiser loving, Chick-Fil-A eating fat ass and wash it! Don’t blame the rest of us for your lazy, ignorant ways.

    • Tommy6860 October 21st, 2014 at 18:27

LOL, I like this! See how that works for the wingers? If this were a black man, the bigots would be calling him a lazy welfare loafer having been raised by a single mom while his father disappears.

      • tiredoftea October 21st, 2014 at 19:04

Yup. White privilege with a dirty, poorly running truck with no gas. Obama’s fault, obviously.

Talking about ACA (Obamacare) then you have to read this article:

Fox News Admits GOP Is Trying To Increase Obamacare Premiums, Then Tries To Cover It Up – Fox News admitted on Tuesday that a conservative-led lawsuit against the Affordable Care Act would raise health care premiums for millions of Americans. But then in its on-screen chyron, the network sought to attribute the increases not to the litigants involved in the case, but to President Obama, potentially confusing viewers.
“Could legal challenges to taxpayer subsidies put Obamacare in a death spiral?” Fox host Bill Hemmer asked, pointing to “a new study funded by the Department of Health and Human Services saying the health care law may be damaged beyond repair if you take the subsidies away, if they’re eliminated.” Ongoing lawsuits are challenging the legality of providing subsidies through health insurance marketplaces in states that refused to set up their own exchanges. If those legal challenges succeed, the analysis that Hemmer is referencing — which comes from the RAND Corporation — did in fact conclude that premiums in those states could increase by as much as 43.3 percent. RAND’s researchers found that if federal subsidies to federally-run exchanges are ruled to be illegal, millions of people would have to pay more for coverage and could leave the risk pool, leading to a death spiral in which only the sickest people remain insured. Enrollment would fall by 68 percent and 11.3 million Americans could become uninsured. http://thinkprogress.org/health/2014/10/21/3582351/fox-news-obamacare-admission/

The extremists are the future of Republican party. Koch Brothers and Tea Party are taking over GOP as fast as they can. All of these candidates are bunch of crazy nuts with no knowledge of governing or making laws, they want to destroy everything that our country stands for, they want to get rid of the middle and working class Americans, and to take us back to stone ages.

As my patience wears ever more thin at the ignorance, lies and hypocrisy coming from the right wing, I have to ask this very simple question to be answered either by the politicians doing the lying or the voters who lack the intelligence to see through the lies.

Please explain why any one of the policies listed in the article below is bad for America and must be repealed. In more parochial terms what the f*ck is wrong with you people?
