Watch: Pumpkin Festival Coordinator Really Doesn’t Want This Reporter To Cover The Riots

While a reporter was covering the Pumpkin festival in New Hampshire, which turned violent, the coordinator of the event, Ruth Sterling, tried to shut the reporter down. While referring to Sterling, he said, “She would not like me to tell you what is going on at Keene State College,” while the coordinator can be seen grabbing his microphone.

Saturday’s festival of the annual Pumpkin Festival in Keene turned chaotic as Keene State College students and visitors to the event became drunk and disorderly with rioters throwing liquor bottles, setting fires and flipping over dumpsters and a vehicle. Because gourds.

Benswann.com reports that Sterling appeared to object to local news coverage of the rioting.

“Right now Ruth Sterling who is the festival coordinator is on site here, uh is being uh, well, she’s not letting me do my job and to report to you. She would not like me to tell you what is going on at Keene State College,” Goodell  says.

Sterling goes on to say that the Pumpkin Festival was “100% safe” and added, “So if you think that inciting these people is a good idea. I am going to pull the plug on you. Because you are a guest of the Keene Pumpkin Festival and I have assigned you this spot.”

“You heard it here first everybody,” Goodell says. When you report the news, when you report the reality, the people in charge want to shut you down. This is against freedom of the press, folks.”

Linus is getting feisty in his old age, trying to convince people about the Great Pumpkin.

“rioters throwing liquor bottles, setting fires and flipping over dumpsters and a vehicle”

    Spoiled little sh*ts

Meanwhile in a tiny town in Maine, some 300 people gathered to run a race to raise money for an elementary school.

I’m pissed they were trying to report about the riots while at pumkinfest too, NOT while at the riots. it was two completely different things, sure they occured at the same time but there’s pumpkinfest which is a very family friendly event, if you were at it you had no clue there were riots happening in that very same town. HOWEVER, then there were the riots, if you want to report those GO TO THEM. Do not try to report about them at the family friendly event. The riots were never near main st where the event was held and stayed right by the campus.
