Rand Paul Is Slowly and Epically Trolling Michelle Obama About Donuts

Senator and presidential hopeful Rand Paul’s (R-Ky.) genius plan to reach out to black voters seems to have entered into a new phase, one in which he trolls America’s immensely popular first black First Lady on Twitter, but only once a month. Michelle Obama has become a potent symbol of right-wing rage at, among other things, eating your vegetables, and so with that apparently in mind, Paul tweeted the following burn at Mrs. Obama:

Now, a normal person would look at that and go “The fuck?” but those of us familiar with the Republican base’s revulsion at all things Michelle Obama instantly recognize this as a shot at the First Lady’s  completely voluntary “Let’s Move” program to get kids to exercise and eat healthy through tyranny and fascism, obviously. Mrs. Obama has also supported healthier school lunches, which obviously means we will now be outlawing donuts.

In case that picture and mention are too cryptic, though, just scroll back almost exactly four weeks on Paul’s Twitter feed, and you’ll find this one…READ MORE

Nasty little racist bircher, you will never be President.

    • forpeace October 16th, 2014 at 18:26

He has a zero chance of ever becoming the POTUS.

The same exact chance as his father Ron Paul.

so true, he is supposed to be an adult proving he is capable to run the country…instead he and most of the goptp just resort to racism and snark. Sad to see the demise of the gop.

I just hope it repulsed everyone else. We already know that the Republican base are racist scumbags. If only fence-sitting moderate independent voters could finally get the message.

      How “presidential” of him.

      • Suzanne McFly October 16th, 2014 at 19:44

That is what dumfounds me, how can people with any common sense continue to support the right? They are so corrupt on multiple levels. Hoards of people are voting against health insurance, a successful economy, and policies protecting the environment, these are issues I would expect everyone to support. The level of hate is sickening.

        • whatthe46 October 16th, 2014 at 22:23

hate makes absolutely no sense what-so-ever, so respecting her and respecting what’s best for this country doesn’t matter to them. and that makes no sense. if she were white, they’d be praising her all day long for her good will and her efforts. including Obama.

          • jasperjava October 17th, 2014 at 01:16

Except that she is a Democrat. The hate would take a slightly different form, that’s all.

          • Suzanne McFly October 17th, 2014 at 07:07

Hillary was criticized for being a cold woman, but no one every said anything against any policies she stood for. I guess that is because Michelle is a strong, beautiful black woman that is pissing the rwnj’s off so badly.

            • jasperjava October 17th, 2014 at 09:45

There was a lot of criticism of Hillary’s policy positions. Remember “Hillarycare”?

The Right will hate liberals no matter what. With the Obamas, there’s the ugly tinge of racism. With Hillary, you will see endless attacks on her womanhood. Republicans simply can’t help being bigots. It’s who they are.

              • Suzanne McFly October 17th, 2014 at 11:25

I just don’t recall the attacks on Hillary being so full of hate. At the time, I definitely would of said the rwnj’s hated her, but in comparison now, it seems like they had a school boy crush one her.

      • Ayn Awnemus October 17th, 2014 at 11:34

I think “repulsed” is a bit strong. It’s just a lame joke. I am repulsed when I see hatred expressed toward Michelle for simply trying to get people eating healthy but I dont’ see that in this particular tweet.

    • burqa October 16th, 2014 at 19:09

      I agree.
It’s rather thin gruel for the Right, so I don’t see it helping him any. He has come up with far more stupid comments in the past and this one will not help him move up in the rankings of the Right Wing Dunce Contest where he sits in 7th place.
It’s also not much for the Left to really get outraged over.
As we get closer to the 2016 primaries, I am sure we can rely on greasy-haired Rand Paul to come up with idiocy with far more meat on the bone.

Harry Reid – On page 37, a remark, said “privately” by Sen. Harry Reid, about Barack Obama’s racial appeal. Though Reid would later say that he was neutral in the presidential race, the truth, the authors write, was that his “encouragement of Obama was unequivocal. He was wowed by Obama’s oratorical gifts and believed that the country was ready to embrace a black presidential candidate, especially one such as Obama – a “light-skinned” African American “with no Negro dialect, unless he wanted to have one,” as he said privately. Reid was convinced, in fact, that Obama’s race would help him more than hurt him in a bid for the Democratic nomination.

Yep, the left has a monopoly on racism . . . Who started the KKK and Jim Crow laws again?

Harry Reid – On page 37, a remark, said “privately” by Sen. Harry Reid, about Barack Obama’s racial appeal. T..

              _______

              Harry Reid was absolutely correct.
His job was to ascertain whether or not the first black nominee could actually win.

No one can deny that if a big man with very dark skin who said things like, “Let me ax you”, would have had very little chance.

You confuse malevolent racism with honest acknowledgment of race.

            • jasperjava October 17th, 2014 at 09:26

Conservatives started the KKK and Jim Crow. At the time, Democrats were the more conservative of the two parties, and Republicans were liberal.

Try to learn some history, it might do you good.

              • red-diaper-baby 1942 October 18th, 2014 at 10:26

More specifically Southern Democrats (Dixiecrats). Northern Democrats, in this unholy alliance, tended to represent labor, while Republicans mostly represented big money and other non-Southern conservatives. The religious right played a relatively minor role. All this was before Nixon’s “Southern Strategy”, which turned the system upside down.

No doubt that if we could see your comment history, your racism would be evident.

With conservatives, it’s more convenient to assume racism unless proved otherwise. Racism is the ideological underpinning of conservatism. All their policies revolve around the preservation of white supremacy

Conservatives started the KKK and Jim Crow. At the time, Democrats were the more conservative of the two parties, and Republicans were liberal.

Try to learn some history, it might do you good.

With conservatives, it’s more convenient to assume racism unless proven otherwise. Racism is the ideological underpinning of conservatism. All their policies revolve around the preservation of white supremacy

Like the KKK, segregation, and Jim Crow laws? The underpinning of the Democrat party? The reason I denounced the article as racist is because EVERYTHING is racist according to progs.
