Watch: ‘Republicans Are People Too’ Ad Is Fixed For The Sake Of Reality

The ad campaign ‘Republicans are people too” was a spectacular failure. The video promised the rest of us that “Republicans are black” while using a stock photo of a smiling African American woman.

Republicans have beards, they said. Republicans drive Priuses, they said. Republicans read the New York Times, the ad declared. The list goes on. But the commonality with all of the characters in the ad was the stock photos used in each example.

It needed to be fixed.

Liberals Unite reports:

In this version some creative soul has gone in and fixed the ad so that it is much more truthful. For example, instead of reading that Republicans are white, it now reads, 98% of Republicans are white. Much better, right?

Billy Goat uploaded this video on YouTube, writing, ‘Fixed to better suit this thing we call “reality.”‘

While the statistics might be off a bit, the well-deserved sarcasm is on target.

When they declared Corporations to be people, my friend, it was only a matter of time before they alleged that Republicans are, too..
