Piers Morgan, The Daily Mail‘s Newest Anti-Obama Attack Dog
Piers Morgan is the new U.S. editor-at-large for the Daily Mail Online, a right-wing website that specializes in mocking and ridiculing Barack Obama. Morgan has jumped into his new job with gusto, writing that the problem with the White House isn’t the Secret Service but “a President who is so complacent about protecting Americans.”
In true Mail Online fashion, Morgan ridicules the president as a man who “exudes complacency from every pore,” and has played golf 192 times since becoming president.
“It’s time he got off the damn golf course, got up to speed with his intelligence briefings and focused on wiping out ISIS. Before they wipe out more of the people he serves.”

Morgan will write or say anything for a paycheck. He stands for nothing. If Fox News had offered him a job he’d have taken it and been a conservative. If MSNBC had offered him a job, he’d be a liberal. He was editor of a sleazy British tabloid before going to CNN. Now he’s U.S. editor at large of another sleazy British tabloid. Whoever signs his paycheck pulls his strings.

So a couple thousand Americans were killed in 9/11 and how did the US respond? They got about 6000 US troops killed and thousands more maimed/injured for life, and this is not counting up to 200,000 innocent Iraqi civilians caught up in the mess. Vengeance is a terrible thing, it makes common sense go out of the window. So a couple Americans get beheaded and hundreds more should be put at risk now to get revenge?? Gimme a break.

President Obama (like Reagan did), gets his intelligence briefings in advance and reads them (Bush didn’t like to read them so he attended the briefings) The President writes questions and comments in the margins and addresses the subject directly, and requires answers.
Now about that golf course thingy.

I think what many of the president’s detractors don’t like about him is that they can’t rattle his cage in spite of trying numerous times. They’ve tried, Lord, how they’ve tried, but he won’t give them the satisfaction of playing the “angry black man” role they have set down for him or that of a clueless stooge they can manipulate into doing their bidding. As for myself, I rather like a person, especially a POTUS, who is cool under pressure and I detest show-boaters who talk a good game but are empty-headed pawns of Big Business and oligarchs.
I’ve long thought that a major reason many of the rich and allegedly well-connected attack President Obama is because they’ve lost easy access to the WH. When GW Bush was president, someone like Limbaugh could have his picture taken standing on the WH lawn with President Bush holding his luggage, preparing to take it into the the WH. People like Donald Trump could call the WH and talk to the president. They’re pissed because President Obama doesn’t play these little games with them. He doesn’t defer to them because he doesn’t need them to tell him who/what he is and that his life has value.
