A hat tip to our good friends at AATTP and YouTube user Wango Tango. The Ferguson PD has a lot of explaining to do.
Ferguson police’s attempts to demonize Michael Brown, the unarmed African-American teen killed by Officer Darren Wilson, may have hit a small snag. The very video they released at the same time as they identified Wilson as the officer responsible for shooting Brown six times, including twice in the head, may show the opposite of what they…
David Hirsch, a.k.a. Dave "Doctor" Gonzo*, is a renegade record producer, video producer, writer, reformed corporate shill, and still-registered lobbyist for non-one-percenter performing artists and musicians. He lives in a heavily fortified compound in one of Manhattan's less trendy neighborhoods.
* Hirsch is the third person to use the pseudonym, a not-so-veiled tribute to journalist and author Hunter S. Thompson, with the permission of his predecessors Gene Gaudette of American Politics Journal (currently webmaster and chief bottlewasher at Liberaland) and Stephen Meese at Smashmouth Politics.

Have to agree with you….
SugarShane August 19th, 2014 at 14:24
“Perhaps it was wrong for Brown to shove the employee”, no that would be illegal, not ‘perhaps it was wrong’. It’s called assault, look it up.
whatthe46 August 19th, 2014 at 16:17
he didn’t put his hands on the clerk first. not assault.
dave-dr-gonzo August 19th, 2014 at 16:17
It’s clear that the clerk shoved first. Wonder why the Ferguson PD has still not yet interviewed the store witnesses. Could it be that their little “Brown shoplifted” scenario will be completely destroyed, and the clerk could be charged with assault?
R.J. Carter August 19th, 2014 at 16:30
That sounds too much like a hopeful narrative. This video and the other clearly shows a non-paid clerk coming from behind the counter for his money, trying to stop a shoplifter, and then being pushed away — elevating shoplifting to assault.

As opposed to the sites that propagate “bullshit for naive CONSERVATIVE lemmings??
OldLefty August 19th, 2014 at 14:36
I’m not conservative. I’m just not a naive white-guilt-ridden liberal.
______
Of course not, Dear.
You don’t need to repeat the AP story.
Everyone knows it.
It is not germane to the shooting.
Doug Dittmer August 19th, 2014 at 14:38
Or ….. we could all stop speculating on what happened and maybe wait for the witnesses to testify. Seems half the people are convinced Brown was some kind of thug and the other half wants the cop arrested and sent to prison before we even have the facts. One of them is guilty because he’s black. The other guy is guilty because he’s a white cop. The truth is likely neither of the above.

QUESTION ??? If this is such a good angle, why is it edited to never show him take any money out of his pocket or wallet to actually “PAY”
dave-dr-gonzo August 19th, 2014 at 16:15
The payment to the clerk is actually pretty clearly visible. You need an opthamologist, sparky.
John Grey August 19th, 2014 at 17:21
He paid the clerk by pushing him down. Not real payment.
Pistol-Packing August 19th, 2014 at 17:25
My eyes may be bad, but they are not that bad. I dont see it. What I see is the clerk taking back what Mike brown put back on the counter at the 24 second mark. He drops stuff on the floor, picks it up, and walks out. and the clerk clearly comes out right from behind the counter with his hand out for something…
If you see something different, then maybe we both should go to the eye doctor. Also, Where is the video footage of him walking up to the counter and pulling money from his pocket?? Why is that edited out?? I think whoever made this claim, needs to go back to the drawing board.
Pistol-Packing August 20th, 2014 at 10:04
I didn’t think my eyes were so bad….
“A lawyer for Mr. Johnson said that his client was interviewed by the F.B.I. and the St. Louis County police last week for nearly four hours. In that interview, Mr. Johnson admitted that he and Mr. Brown had stolen cigarillos from the store, said the lawyer, Freeman R. Bosley Jr.”

I can’t imagine if ANY kid in my fairly affluent white suburb had been shot and killed by the police after behaving in the same way.
The parents here are apoplectic if their kid doesn’t get the teacher they wanted or makes the JV team instead of the varsity team.

When you get an alert, while typing, saying that “the comment you are responding to has been removed by the moderator”…..
Why???
Carla Akins August 19th, 2014 at 14:56
Your comment hasn’t been removed, most likely I deleted the comment you were replying to – refresh the page and your comment should be there. Let me know if you run into further trouble.
OldLefty August 19th, 2014 at 15:31
Not interested in MY comment, just curious about the deleted one.
Is it deleted even as one is replying to it??
mea_mark August 19th, 2014 at 15:40
Yes, If we hit the delete button while someone is replying, it goes away and the reply does too unfortunately.
whatthe46 August 19th, 2014 at 16:16
when i find that happening, just go to the top of the page and repost it but address it to the person i was attempting to respond to.
OldLefty August 19th, 2014 at 17:40
OK.
That makes sense.
Thanks.

I think you need to look up the word “reportedly”.
Paul August 19th, 2014 at 14:50
I think you need to look up the word “reportedly”. If there was evidence of a crime, Johnson would be charged with accessory.
wutwut August 19th, 2014 at 15:33
It’s up to the store clerk to press charges, for DJ to be charged with a crime. Store clerk could feel in danger of consequences for filing charges against Johnson from the local community. I mean… they are rioting…
whatthe46 August 19th, 2014 at 16:19
don’t be stupid please. if the clerk called the police you’re suggesting that there would have been a riot? that’s the problem. ignorance. your ignorance.

Paul August 19th, 2014 at 15:07
*shrug* Sorry. I just wanted to make sure that everybody who posted that link knew that it doesn’t actually say what they think it says.
Carla Akins August 19th, 2014 at 15:17
I apologize, I should have worded that nicer.
Paul August 19th, 2014 at 15:13
Also, for the record, I posted “reportedly” exactly once, because Disqus does not allow you to post the exact same comment twice in one thread. I DID post several variations of my point, which I maintain is a valid one.. If you think I’ve done something wrong, perhaps you should reevaluate your criteria for moderation because if one jackass and his sockpuppets can get away with posting the same BS link over and over again, I should be able to post a rebuttal each and every time without being scolded.
Carla Akins August 19th, 2014 at 15:16
No it’s was driving me crazy. Most readers review more than just their comments, they look at the entire thread. You posted some variation of the same thing 5 times.
mea_mark August 19th, 2014 at 15:23

Carla Akins August 19th, 2014 at 15:31
Yep.
raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 09:07
are these people setting up different accounts?
mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 12:05
Some people, mostly trolls, have more than one account, some have many accounts with different names and email accounts. Some like to make up new accounts days after being banned, some just like to talk to themselves and up vote their own comments.
raincheck August 21st, 2014 at 12:55
Wow no kidding!… I suppose it could give the impression that more people think a particular way… making something seem more popular than it is in reality. I had a feeling things like that went on, but didn’t want to ask… I also have a feeling that some people are paid to sit and post all day, skewing the subject to, again make something look more popular than it is… have you ever heard of something like this? Or am I just paranoid? lol
mea_mark August 21st, 2014 at 13:37
Russia is certainly paying trolls. Koch brothers, more than likely, they are probably just a lot better at hiding it.
