Jeb Ain’t Running

Is there any doubt that Jeb Bush is NOT running?

The best antidote to illegal immigration is a functioning system of legal immigration… Now is the time for House Republicans to demonstrate leadership on this issue. Congress should not use the present crisis as an excuse to defer comprehensive immigration reform.…we have too often seen what happens when the president oversteps his constitutional authority. Avoiding similar disastrous results will require legislative action by both parties.

(my bold)

Looks like Jebbie is burning a few bridges with the insane base. Anything short of putting nuclear warheads and maybe the entire US Marine Corps on the southern border is a sure sign that Jeb is not running. See Rubio, Marco if you doubt me.

He’s like Tiny Tim tiptoeing through the tulips with such an outstanding field of GOP reams waiting behind to jump Jeb in the bushes. http://tinytim.org/articles/mono-review.html

the lying, cheating, bigoted, hypoctitcal, stealing, manipulative, greedy tea party people hate jeb the lying, cheating, bigoted, hypocrites, stealing, manipulative, greedy” bush because, well, he represents the old boy network who represent everything they are. they prefer to vote for the new boy network, which is really no different than the old boy network, but the tea party swears the two are different, when they aren’t.

Even Barbara Bush — Jeb’s mother — has publicly said that she doesn’t want Jeb to run.
“There’s no question in my mind that Jeb is the most qualified person to run for president, but I hope he won’t,” the former first lady said in an interview for a C-SPAN series on the wives of presidents that aired last January.

“Because I think he’ll get all my [husband’s] enemies, all his brother’s. And there are other families. I refuse to accept that this great country isn’t raising other wonderful people . . . The Kennedys, the Clintons, the Bushes, there’s just more families than that,” she said.

I don’t see Jeb running, either. He’s made no secret of his disdain for the Tea Party — and especially its anti-Latino rabble-rousers. Lest anyone forget, Jeb’s wife, Columba, is a Mexican-American, and so for the former Florida governor, the immigration issue is a deeply personal one.
