Homophobes To Start Screaming ‘Obama’s A Dictator’ In 3… 2… 1…

… because that illegitimate Kenyan Muslim usurper is abusing his executive power to stop anti-gay discrimination! This is what tyranny looks like — that is, if you’re a homophobe:

President Obama plans to sign an executive order on Monday that protects gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees from discrimination by companies that do federal government work, fulfilling a promise to a crucial Democratic constituency, White House officials said on Friday. But the directive will not exempt religious groups, as many of them had sought.

The order will also, for the first time, explicitly protect federal employees from discrimination on the basis of gender identity, officials said. Federal workers are already protected based on their sexual orientation.

Gay groups stepped up their already intense campaign to persuade Mr. Obama to sign the order after the Supreme Court’s decision last month in the Burwell v. Hobby Lobby Stores case. In that ruling, the court said that family-run corporations with religious objections could be exempted from providing employees with insurance coverage for contraception, and there were fears that the case would have repercussions for gay men, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people.

“With the strokes of a pen, the president will have a very real and immediate impact on the lives of millions of L.G.B.T. people across the country,” Chad Griffin, the president of the Human Rights Campaign, said in a statement on Friday. “These actions from the president have the potential to be a keystone in the arch of his administration’s progress, and they send a powerful message to future administrations and to Congress that anti-L.G.B.T. discrimination must not be tolerated.”

GOP deadender bible bigots are in for a double header because Oklahoma’s equal marriage ban was just ruled unconstitutional too! OKLAHOMA CITY – The 10th Circuit Court of Appeals has made a major ruling Friday, July 18th in the case of Oklahoma’s ban on gay marriage. “In all, 22 rulings in recent months have found that state bans on marriage for same-sex couples are unconstitutional.”

The ruling states Oklahoma’s law is unconstitutional, saying same-sex couples have a Constitutional right to marry. -Well Duh! That’s what SCOTUS ruled in striking down equal marriage bans universally violating the 10th and 5th amendments levying ‘unfair taxation without representation as unfairly discriminated against married LGBT.’ http://kfor.com/2014/07/18/unconstitutional-court-makes-major-ruling-on-oklahomas-ban-on-gay-marriage/

Morality, we don’t need no stinkin morality
Under the Glorious Dear Leader perversion rules the day.

There is no perversion worse than hating others for being “different,” even though they are the way that God made them.

      • Anomaly 100 July 19th, 2014 at 08:43

That’s where Republicans fail miserably. They don’t realize there are Christians on the left. We’re everywhere!

        • Linda1961 July 19th, 2014 at 08:51

Exactly! Jesus himself was a leftist – he healed the sick, fed the hungry and told the wealthy to share what God had blessed them with.

          • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:03

Jesus also told the woman who was caught in the act of adultery to ‘go and SIN no more less a worse thing comes upon you’.
Jesus did speak of morals and sin, and later his apostles spoke of the act of homosexuality as a abomination, not toward man but toward God.

            • Tommy6860 July 19th, 2014 at 09:05

I see when these leftist Jesus loving Christians point out that Jesus was a leftist poor people lover, those parts of scripture they actually know of, become an inconvenience to your bigotry.

              • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:07

Poor and immoral are two different issues

                • jasperjava July 19th, 2014 at 09:15

There’s nothing more immoral than the unjust social and economic conditions that create poverty.

You’re a false Christian. YOU are the wolves in sheep’s clothing that Jesus warned about. Jesus was not a hateful narrow-minded bigot, like you are.

                  Vade retro, Satana.

                    LOL,
Social justice is a man made concept to extract money from those who work for a living and redistribute it to those who don’t want to work.
Where’s the tolerance for differing views amongst the liberals here? Where are the respect for opinions that are not hateful or name calling?
I think you should ask your self if your last response was in the spirit of tolerance?
                    *smiles*

Respect for ignorance and hatred? You have to go to right-wing sites for that.

Any “Christian” who doesn’t believe in social justice is no Christian.

I see your “social justice” is just like my BiL. He’s a RWNJ also!

LOL! Jerry (or Bob Wass or trees whoever you’re pretending to be these days), you’re a hoot! You fell for the old “God hates f*gs, now give me your cash” routine doled out by organized religion. Hey! I hear the rapture’s coming! Since you can’t take your worldly possessions with you, why not sell them and send Pat Robertson the cash? I’m sure he’ll put it to good use, promising eternal salvation to any suckers willing to part with their cash – like you.

LOL! That’s funny – “love the sinner, hate the sin”. Sure. “love the poor, but hate them for their economic status”. Keep using God to launder your hatred and when you die, I hope God greets you at the pearly gates, wearing a fire island t-shirt, saying “I’m not talking to you1” (BTW, that wasn’t my baby. That was from Bill Maher on the death of another notorious snake-oil salesman, Jerry Falwell).

                • Tommy6860 July 19th, 2014 at 09:29

First of all, Jesus never addressed homosexuality. Secondly, immorality is a subjective thing when religious views are applied, they have no basis in reality. No matter, because so many Christian couples will keep on procreating gay babies, so we all will have fabulous lives :D

                  • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:47

As it turns out, yes, He did. As a matter of fact, He spoke very clearly and directly about the issue. Let me begin with Matthew 19:4. Here Jesus is answering a question from the Pharisees regarding divorce. However, his answer is very telling concerning the entire issue of sexuality, the purpose of sexuality, marriage and the proper form of marriage. Here are the words of Jesus:

“And He answered and said to them, ‘Have you not read that He who made them at the beginning “made them male and female,” and said, “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh”?’” (Matthew 19:4)

You posted the wrong thing – that’s a quote that could be interpreted to support heterosexual coupling, I suppose. But I think you meant to post one where He comes out against homosexuality.

Could you dig that one up for us? Several of us have read all the red stuff in the bible & never found anything stating He had issues w/ same sex romantic relationships – sounds like you have. I’d be interested in reading it so I can better understand where you are coming from.

                    • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 14:14

There is a natural order of life.
Man has a sexual organ that is to be used for reproduction with a woman’s sexual organ. They fit, it’s natural.
Homosexuality is against this order, it’s not a natural order of things in other words it is a perversion. Jesus when referring to the physical aspect of relationships spoke of a man and a woman becoming one flesh. What that refers to is childbirth. As far as we know Jesus did not say anything directly about homosexuality but he did teach a lot about immorality. At the time of Jesus homosexuals were shunned. In the Old Testament they were stoned as was the woman caught in adultery, who Jesus said ‘woman where are thine accusers, nor do I accuse thee, go and SIN no more unless a worse thing comes upon you’.
Jesus followed Jewish law and customs but challenged many of these customs like stoning, that however does not mean he condoned any of immorality causing this punishment.
So if you are homosexual then that is your choice. If you think it’s not a sin than that is between you and God.
But if there are people like me that refuse to accept your choice as being normal than you a sadly mistaken. There will come a push back against the forced acceptance of homosexuality. The majority of American’s don’t want it taught in schools nor do they want it in the military. As your beginning to see now with the Chic Fil A incident and better yet, Duck Dynasty reversals.
What is truly puzzling to me, is Homosexuals refuse to condemn Islam who actually hangs and stones homosexuals today. Christians just try to ignore the homosexual sin and leave it alone at that.
So as you feverishly work to justify your immoral lifestyle, why don’t you just agree that there’s millions who agree to tolerance of your lifestyle but those ‘activists’ within your ranks refuse to allow this diversity of thought by demanding forced acceptance. Having homosexuality taught in public schools is seen as recruiting efforts and akin to pedophilia. (Which NAMBLA is working to have legalized) That will ultimately be the turning of society and the undoing of your perversion.
Just as in Sodom and Gomorrah, the homosexuals in this story couldn’t leave the two angels alone because their lust burned in their hearts, the homosexuals were all blinded. I am beginning to think that the constant pushing from homosexuals in America has blinded them from the push back that is coming their way. Stop the pushing to justify your sin it lays your inner guilt bare before all to see.

                    • Um Cara July 19th, 2014 at 14:19

Erm… That’s a lot to respond to, but I’ll just limit myself to pointing out that all this ‘sexual organs’ talk isn’t really pertinent to the topic.

There are other websites for such discussions.

                    • Carla Akins July 19th, 2014 at 14:51

If you choose to believe in the bible, more power to you. Everybody has a crutch. I find it unnatural to believe in something so clearly a myth, to the exclusion of all rational and reasonable proof. This does not mean that I don’t believe in a creator, but I certainly don’t believe in the bible.
However in this country there is no national religion, our schools and public agencies are secular. Marriage is secular, it requires a license issued by the state. Placing restrictions on secular activities for religious belief is unconstitutional and just downright mean-spirited.
I will not come into your church and demand you follow my beliefs, nor would I even mention religion or personal beliefs in everyday conversation or group setting that was nor set aside for that purpose. The idea that Christians need to proselytize to non-believers is at the top of my list for why I find them so distasteful. Too many Christian-in-name-only have had far too long to push and bully those unlike them around, forcing their dogma into our daily lives.

Carla – an interesting question is, if there is one true God, then why is there so many different religions and different ways of worship?

                    • Carla Akins July 20th, 2014 at 10:54

What an excellent question, that was how I started questioning my faith, and the closer I looked the more foolish I felt. I was very angry for a short time – feeling like I’d been lied to by the people I loved the most.

I pretty quickly got over that, but it was 5 more years before I ever said it out loud that I was an agnostic/atheist.

I loved my gma more than anyone in the world, and she lived an incredibly hard life. Her faith gave her comfort, so I found it easier to be accepting of people of faith but in no way does that mean I’m willing to tolerate anyone’s religion in my government or public schools.

On a side note, every time I hear “one true god” I see Battlestar Gallactica in my head. (2nd generation)

If that is the case then how does the reproductive cycle of all mammals then produce L,G,B and T beings? How can L, G, B and T people procreate? Why wouldn’t God prevent them from doing so, if God is all knowing and all powerful? God has had a lot of time to correct his “mistake”. Maybe God doesn’t believe that it is a “mistake”. Any interpretation of”God’s word” is inherently flawed because human beings are flawed. The only perfect human was killed for being perfect.

Oh, brother – the homosexual agenda in schools issue again. The comparison of NAMBLA to gays again. If this agenda was so effective and pervasive, then why hasn’t the percentage of gay people dramatically increased?

So, where does he say anything about homosexuality? Again, if it were meant to be as you so say it is by the will of god, then it should be that way. So either it’s the bigots that use their religious views to hold back the gay community, or god had a big oops moment he forgot to fix. It’s simply the former.

Your interpretation of whatever texts inform your personal supernatural belief system is not so important when considering whether it is OK for employers to discriminate against certain classes of employees.

So you are advocating for homosexual hiring quotas and special rights for sinful behavior now?

                • Um Cara July 19th, 2014 at 09:33

                  * homosexual hiring quotas*

Huh? What are these ‘homosexual hiring quotas’ you speak of? I had not heard of any such thing. Could you point me to what you are referring to? I’d like to read the text of this proposed rule/law so I can better answer you.

*and special rights for sinful behavior now?*

What sinful behavior are you referring to? And which specific sect of which specific religion are you talking about?

                  • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:40

Small issues, like Christian bakers who refuse to bake cakes for homosexual unions because of their beliefs and are targeted by activists homosexuals causing them to shut down and be fined.
That’s a good example of the aggressive homosexual spirit that is far from tolerant. If I did want to trade with a homosexual business then I wouldn’t. But deliberately ruining a person legitimate business to prove a point is wrong and evil.

                    • Um Cara July 19th, 2014 at 09:46

I would just like a bit more info so I can answer the questions you originally asked of me, then I will dig into the new ones you asked.

                      1. What are these ‘homosexual hiring quotas’ you speak of?
                      2. What sinful behavior are you referring to? (And which specific sect of which specific religion considers it sinful)

                    • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 10:01

With the passage of the Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), the heavy hand of government is coming down on small business owners. Government lawyers would give them the following choice: Surrender your beliefs or we will sue you into financial oblivion. The courts have done this, and worse. A Colorado judge, in Denver, ordered the baker to pay a fine, each time, or go to jail; and in New Mexico, a judge, back in August, ordered similar for the photographer.
Many Americans seem to have forgotten that the purpose of an individual starting a business is so that person can support himself or pursue an activity that provides him fulfillment. Liberal legislators seem to feel that businesses are their vehicles for social engineering, with the proprietor taking the risk and making the sacrifice while government controls the business for the special interest du jour, which happens at the moment to be the LGBT community.
But making a living is a fundamental right, and a private business is a property and the meaning behind “pursuit of happiness” enshrined in the Declaration. A man’s business and livelihood were never seen by the Founders as just another vehicle to be used by special interest groups to advance their agenda.
Furthermore, quotas in hiring will require that religious organizations hire gay people who do not necessarily subscribe to the mission of the organization and may be dead-set against some of its beliefs. It should be remembered that a business is not made for the purpose of hiring but for enacting a vision and making a profit. Businesses and organizations have specific goals for which the organization exists. It is contrary to common sense to be forced to hire someone who is unwilling to further all the goals of the organization.

And that is so much BS. What you are claiming is that someone who is L,G,B or T cannot be a productive member of society on the basis of their sexual orientation. In many cases, the owners and co-workers don’t know the sexual orientation of their co-workers. What the law says, if you have read it, is that a worker cannot be fired solely on the basis of their sexual orientation. However, if they aren’t doing the job, they can be fired. Nor can a potential employer ask about the candidate’s sexual orientation nor base the hiring decision upon it.

Again, if being L,G,B or T is such an abomination then why have they existed throughout the existence of man and it has been proven that sexual orientation is not a choice, but genetic.

The H word, appropriated by bigots in an effort to propagate the hatred, is the new N word, and you seem to DELIGHT in using it.

                • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:19

Many believe that the Bible gives a road map to behavior that is for the betterment of society and spells out behaviors that are detrimental. Those aggressive immoral behaviors not working for good are called sin. Evil parades as a angel of light until it can remove it’s mask.

                  • jasperjava July 19th, 2014 at 09:28

What authority do you have to speak of moral issues, when you don’t even recognize POVERTY as a moral issue? It’s the most significant moral issue of all time.

You have shown us that your “morality” is based on sheer hate, not Christ’s love.

                    • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:31

Jesus said the poor you will always have with you.
Helping those in poverty is something that Christians are admonished to do.

                    • Orrin Cratch July 19th, 2014 at 10:51

Jesus, in the context of the original source’s language (Aramaic), was not talking to the 21st century. “Always” was in the SPECIFIC context of “in your lifetime” to the people whom he addressed directly.

I know more about your fanciful “holy book” than you do.

Naturally, self-styled “evangelical” bible thumpers have ZERO interest in a more linguistically accurate translation of their fanciful “holy book” because it might demolish the hate-driven views to which they are bitter clingers.

Those aggressive immoral behaviors not working for good are called body Thetans.

Being gay is not a sin. Acting upon your orientation is not a sin.

Why are you against equal rights for ALL Americans?

                  • mmaynard119 July 20th, 2014 at 09:27

If being gay is a sin and you believe that God determines what goes on on Earth, then why does every mammal species have gay members? Studies have shown that 3% to 7% of all mammals have same-sex orientation. Studies as well as personal experiences have shown that this sexual orientation is genetic and that most recognize that they are “different” at an early age.

So are you saying that God makes mistakes? Because if you are then you have just committed idolatry.

              • Robert Merrill Taylor July 19th, 2014 at 12:07

Not really, no. I my personal experience, sexual identity does not confer moral superiority. On a percentage basis, there are just as many scofflaws and murderers in the gay community as in the straight.

                • jasperjava July 19th, 2014 at 15:12

That’s exactly my point. All things being equal.

            • Eric Trommater July 19th, 2014 at 10:28

He told the woman to sin no more, he didn’t tell the Pharisees it was OK to discriminate against her because, in his eyes, she had sinned.
He also directly said of divorce “what God has joined together, let no one separate.”
So where is your push to outlaw divorce or at least to allow discrimination against those who choose to have one?
When using morality to make law and basing that morality only on the writings of one religious sect you undercut that morality when you pick and choose which morality the government should enforce. It is no longer morality, it’s simply a matter of person taste.

          Indeed we are everywhere!
And while a few loudmouths among us are making fools of themselves, the vast majority of Christians are quietly leading quite different lives. Christians and those of other faiths, often cooperating through local interfaith councils may be found running homeless shelters, food banks, food pantries, helping the poor get heating oil in the winter, conducting clothing drives or collecting school supplies for poor children and any number of other projects that help those in need. They do so in the face of the hostility expressed by people who do not even seem to realize how bigoted they are.
Our society would be far better off if those who claim to oppose bigotry were consistent and opposed it regardless of what group is targeted.
Unfortunately, on both the Left and Right there are groups the crowd seems to endorse as legitimate targets for hatred; the only difference being who is hated.
Making it worse is those who may not share the hatred, but who fail to speak up when they see someone on their side hating and stereotyping a particular group.

Jesus also told the woman who was caught in the act of adultery to ‘go and SIN no more less a worse thing comes upon you’.

That was from Bill Maher on the death of another notorious snake-oil salesman, Jerry Falwell).

So, where does he say anything about homosexuality? Again, if it were meant to be as you so say it is by the will of god, then it should be that way. So either it’s the bigots that use their religious views to hold back the gay community, or god had a big oops moment he forgot to fix. It’s simply the former.

                    • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 10:08

Every employer that refuses to hire or fires an employee for no other reason than their orientation, every government licensed business that refuses service (like the baker) based on nothing other than the orientation, every landlord or rental manager that refuses applications or evicts due to orientation…..

Your interpretation of whatever texts inform your personal supernatural belief system is not so important when considering whether it is OK for employers to discriminate against certain classes of employees.

              • GloriousDearLeader July 19th, 2014 at 09:10

So you are advocating for homosexual hiring quotas and special rights for sinful behavior now?

                • Um Cara July 19th, 2014 at 09:33

                  * homosexual hiring quotas*

If I didn’t want to trade with a homosexual business than I wouldn’t force my beliefs on them for being homosexual. But deliberately ruining a person legitimate business to prove a point is wrong and evil.

                    • Um Cara July 19th, 2014 at 09:46

OK, those are other issues that I’m happy to discuss with you – but first would you mind answering my questions (obviously you are not obligated to, just a friendly request).

A Colorado judge, in Denver, ordered the baker to pay a fine, each time, or go to jail; and in New Mexico, a judge ordered similar punishment for the photographer.
Furthermore, quotas in hiring will require that religious organizations hire homosexuals who do not necessarily subscribe to the mission of the organization and may be dead-set against some of its beliefs. It should be remembered that a business is not made for the purpose of hiring but for enacting a vision and making a profit. Businesses and organizations have specific goals for which the organization exists. It is contrary to common sense to be forced to hire someone who is unwilling to further all the goals of the organization.
                      *smiles*

                    • mmaynard119 July 20th, 2014 at 09:42

BTW – ENDA was passed by the Senate and has yet to be voted upon by the House.

Many believe that the Bible gives a road map to behavior that is for the betterment of society and spells out behaviors that are detrimental. Those aggressive immoral behaviors not working for good are called sin. Evil parades as a angel of light until it can remove it’s mask.

You have shown us that your “morality” is based on sheer hate, not Christ’s love.

… that is, IF his “apostles” actually wrote them. It all reads like some kind of Conservative cult fan fiction anyway.

Well, no. If he married her, she would have objected to his constant hanging around with his low-life friends and go out and get a real job.

        • burqa July 19th, 2014 at 18:46

Not everyone believes homosexuality is a sin

Furthermore, no company should profit from taxpayer dollars if that company discriminates against any segment of American taxpayers.

For the life of me, I cannot understand why this executive order should be at all controversial. The federal government treats everyone fairly and refuses to do business with companies that do not. Isn’t that what America is supposed to stand for?

My personal belief is that homosexuality is not “sin”. So please do not demand that my tax dollars should be controlled based on the mythology of people who believe otherwise.

The only religion murdering homosexuals is Islam
look it up. so why do you not tell the truth about islam and lie a bout Christianity

      • Bunya July 19th, 2014 at 20:09

The only reason Christians aren’t murdering homosexuals here in the states (and in many other countries) is because IT’S AGAINST THE LAW! And it’s not as easy to get away with murder as it used to be. I’m sure if killing gays became legal, the Christians would be the first in line to take them out – in Jesus’ name, of course.

    • burqa July 19th, 2014 at 18:31

Obama is a Christian, you know.
So will be the majority of those who enact state and local laws banning discrimination.
This presents a problem for those who claim to be against bigotry that targets one group but who insist on being bigoted themselves and somehow seem to think there are other groups that it is ok to hate.

It seems to me the better way is to oppose bigotry regardless of the group targeted, whether it is gays, immigrants, Christians, Muslims, Jews, women, atheists or any other group that is falsely stereotyped and made the target of bigotry.
To be so inconsistent is to remove one’s self from serious consideration because of the obvious hypocrisy.

As this applied only to federal workers — of whom he is ostensibly the CEO — I don’t see a problem with him signing a policy for these changes.
