Gun Safety Group: It Would Be Great If the NRA Represented Their Members, Not Just Gun Manufacturers (Video)
Gun rights activists calling for more guns in the wake of every mass shooting, have yet to produce a viable solution to the problem. Wayne LaPierre’s solution has been a call for”more guns.” At least, after he shifted from his previous calls for background checks back in the day.
Feinblatt noted that gun control laws have helped to deter gun violence. “Forty percent of sales in this country happen without background checks in this country,” Feinblatt said.
The group has put out a questionnaire to members of Congress much like the NRA does. The survey asks candidates about issues like toughening background check rules and tightening restrictions on domestic abusers.
The group’s questionnaire differs from the NRA’s in that it’s transparent and posted online. He explains that the NRA is not as powerful with Congress as we’re led to believe and adds, “The American public has always believed in gun safety. The NRA once did.” He added. “They’re the ones who shifted. It would be great to have them come back and have them represent their members and not just represent gun manufacturers.”

Well good luck to them. The NRA hasn’t been interested in real gun safety for a long long time. Here’s a pretty good article about why that it is:

The NRA is incapable of changing its rationale, it seems like terrorizing our country is a much more lucrative business model.

Sociopath Wayne Lapierre should never be allowed to possess firearms. He is leading a crusade to shoot children.

Wayne LaPew dodged the draft because of mental issues. and the NRA has draft dodger and pedophile Ted Nugent on it’s board. What else do you need to know about the NRA?

I was a member. I have a modest collection, and love historical firearms. I used to read the American rifleman cover to cover. At some point the NRA drifted from a sportsman/gun safety organization, to a gaggle or hysterical extremists. There was a time when the NRA considered poachers to be vile and despicable. There was a time when the camp Perry competitions were a revered and traditional event. The organization had dignity and purpose. I can think of nothing more disgusting than for a draft dodging, CONVICTED poacher to be elevated to the board of the NRA. Todays NRA has befouled the values it was founded on, so they could prostitute themselves to gun manufacturers.

You people only have contempt for the NRA and law abiding gun owners. Rarely do you display such contempt for the actual perpatraiters of these crimes against humanity….telling.

The NRA is the brand name in firearm safety. These slander attempts by propaganda-driven anti-gun democrats ring hollow. We know your agenda is to disarm American citizens. The NRA offers numerous solutions to protect innocent lives but it does not matter to these anti-gun zealots. They just want control and monopoly of force.
