Boehner: ‘I disagree’ with Sarah Palin on impeaching Obama

Posted by | July 9, 2014 13:41 | Filed under: Politics Top Stories

House Speaker John Boehner was wise to speak out about Sarah Palin’s “impeach Obama” media tour.

Two words was all it took on Wednesday for House Speaker John Boehner to shoot down fellow Republican Sarah Palin’s call to impeach President Barack Obama.

“I disagree,” Boehner told reporters at a regular press briefing.

Palin, the former vice-presidential candidate and forAlaska governor, published an op-ed Tuesday on Breitbart urging Obama’s removal from office and accusing him of leaving the U.S. border open and allowing undocumented immigrants to easily enter the country…

Palin has mocked the lawsuit Boehner and House Republicans are preparing against Obama for his use of executive actions. “You don’t bring a lawsuit to a gunfight,” Palin said Tuesday on Fox News’s “Hannity” show.

How about not bringing guns, period.

He should disagree because he knows there is no chance in h*** it could or would ever happen. Still…this doesn’t excuse him for the stunts he has pulled the last 6+ years which includes but not limited to obstructionism…stonewalling…and failing to help the middle class and poor. Boehner is a total failure as House speaker and joins a long list of other Repulsives who have failed to govern as they were elected to do….

I think this is like the “vote of confidence” a board gives right before trying to oust it’s CEO or a team does before it fires the coach. What he really is saying, “AFTER the midterms we will talk about that. For now STFU Sarah – didn’t you get the memo? We’re not doing that this week.”

    • crc3 July 9th, 2014 at 14:03

Yep. I don’t trust him as far as I could throw him. However…I could muster enough energy to throw him if there was a cliff close by…LOL…

He knows any serious impeachment talk would keep the senate in democratic hands. The lawsuit talk is just red meat for the base. He knows as well as anyone it will be dismissed.

I can hardly wait for them to try to indict the President.

It is getting to be physically painful to try to keep up on what the fools are saying about the idiots–but I feel that I must. OW! OW! OW!

Simple Sarah’s sell-by date was in 2008. Why is she still taking up the oxygen of actual debate?

Most Republicans realize that their chest-thumping and fist-pounding about impeaching Obama is little more than election-year political theatrics.

The ‘Whining Wannabe from Wasilla’ lacks the intellectual insight necessary to understand that there is no justification for impeachment, nor does she have any clue about what the impeachment process actual entails.

Boehner only disagrees with Palin if he’s not the first to say it.

Sarah Palin says: You don’t bring a lawsuit to a gunfight

Right, you bring articles of impeachment to a gunfight. Wait, what?
