Pentagon Pushes Pvt. Chelsea Manning Transfer For Gender Treatment

The Associated Press first reported Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel’s decision to move Manning early Wednesday, and Rear Adm. John Kirby, Hagel’s spokesman, confirmed it to The New York Times later Wednesday morning.
The Army has asked the Pentagon to approve moving Manning to a federal prison.
The soldier has asked for hormone therapy and to be able to live as a woman. Transgenders are not allowed to serve in the U.S. military and the Defense Department does not provide such treatment. The Department of Veterans Affairs, however, does provide the treatment for veterans.

I can’t believe the Pentagon is putting up with this nonsense. Mr. Bradley Manning IS A MAN and until some miracle happens the he magically loses his junk that is what he shall remain. You liberals are destroying this country and it’s institutions bit by bit and this is one of the most idiotic, outrageous examples yet.

yeah you’re right. we liberals should devote our energies to more constructive activities to strengthen our republic, like picking up a gun and threatening violence if the government dares to try and enforce the law. thanks for the advice.
