HELLOOOO!! Larry King Admits HGH Use In Reddit AMA

I’ve been a Larry King fan for longer than most. I grew up listening to WIOD in Miami when King did local sports radio. It was a great show and because he talked a lot about my two favorite teams, The Miami Dolphins and the New York Yankees, I was a regular caller.

So it was exciting to see him do another Reddit AMA (Ask Me Anything) the other day. Members of the site peppered him with hundreds of questions and he chose some pretty interesting ones to answer.

At 80 years old King is still very active in broadcasting and working on a number of projects including at ora.tv, so it was inevitable someone would ask about his vitality and longevity. It seems that the talk show icon juices … and I don’t mean fruits and vegetables.

I take a lot of vitamins. I take heart medications. And I take HGH, I’ve been taking that for years in pill form, I know it’s banned in baseball but my doctor credits it for my vitality. I know I feel young, I don’t get jet-lagged when I fly. So chalk it up to HGH.

The use of Human Growth Hormones is not illegal outside of major league sports and who can fault an octogenarian for looking for that competitive advantage. King is a Hall of Fame broadcaster whose legacy still grows. No matter what it takes this fan hopes his familiar gravelly voice fills airwaves for many years to come.
