How can you not like the Tesla Roadster? Yes. it’s prohibitively expensive, but its breakthrough technology is bound to find its way into less expensive vehicles, and it’s a small but significant step away from fossil fuels. All that’s needed is a “green grid”, and with wind accounting for a small but quickly increasing portion of generated electrical energy in the US, progress is tangible if slower than the planet needs.
