US Army Plans To Launch Surveillance Blimps Over Baltimore

This will be a test to see how effective blimps can be for surveillance of drones, cruise missiles and other threats.

Some privacy advocates fear the government will use the blimps to spy on Americans. The government says that the blimps are not used for data collection and won’t be shared with local law enforcement authorities.
