You’d think the guy might have gotten the message from the show of which he was such an ardent fan. On the other hand, he kinda does look like Walter White’s accomplice Jesse Pinkman.

A Florida man who won a contest to watch the series finale of Breaking Bad with the cast has been charged with running a drug distribution operation.

Police in Lee County say Ryan Lee Carroll sold synthetic marijuana and shipped it across the US from his home with two other men. He was arrested on New Year’s Eve after authorities seized more than $1m (£600,000) in synthetic marijuana (herbs sprayed with ingredients that mimic cannabis) during a raid.

According to police, the suspects used a cement mixer to create the drugs, which were shipped through the US postal service.

Investigators also seized a souvenir Hazmat chemical-protection suit signed by cast members of Breaking Bad, the hugely popular TV show that follows a former teacher who produces and sells methamphetamine with a former student.
