A potential juror pressed the “s” on his keyboard when asked to list his occupation and up came “slave.”

A courts spokesperson says that the list of occupations is 62 pages long. She is not sure whether the word “slave” has always been on the list, or if someone added it before the program went online to the public…

The courthouse said it removed the word “slave” as an option within an hour of learning that it was on the website.

An investigation into how the word got there in the first place continues.
