I’m About To Delete My Facebook Profile

If I see one more posting that even comes close to, “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people,” I’m packing up my pics and moving back to MySpace.

Here’s last night’s debacle: “If guns kill people, I suppose pencils misspell words, cars drive drunk, and spoons make people fat.”

Okay, you’re right. You win. A human must pull the trigger. Congratulations, you just foiled all attempts at gun reform.

But my dear Facebook “friends,” per usual, you’re only addressing the surface issue and there’s depth to discover. If you dig deeper inside yourself, you’ll realize guns were invented for one purpose and one purpose only – to take life. And until Americans stop fetishizing over guns, we will never evolve into the society we were intended to become.
