I’m Not Funny

I said on television that Obama was relatively new to Washington and McCain has been there since the earth cooled.  It was a joke, obviously.  I went on to say that I having nothing against McCain because of his age, as I hope to be that age one day.   That didn’t stop emailers from being very upset with me.

Hello Mr. Colmes,

I just caught your comment regarding Senator McCain has been around since the Earth cooled. Although I rarely agree with your views, I do however think that your comment was one of the funniest remarks I have heard in years. Although I would never vote for a tax increasing candidate such as Mr. Obama, I do however think your comment was a great example of comedic timing.

I am clearly a conservative as I mentioned above, almost always do not agree with your views, I think that you are the perfect balance and input that should be provided in contrast to your colleague Sean Hannity, (I don’t agree much with his tendency to potentially be too far to the right).

We won’t all become black, but we all AGE. Your flip and thoughtless comment about John McCain’s age on your program tonight is the very reason liberals are losers.
